About Skyline Roofing
Skyline Roofing was established in 1984, and in 1988 was registered as a proprietary company. The company was run from an office at the owner residence, during this time the company employed a number of direct employees and subcontractors. The company then moved to a warehouse at the corner of Forster and Murphy Streets at Invermay.
From this premises the company was able to develop with the employment of a qualified Sheetmetal worker, into a Roofing and Sheetmetal manufacturing company. During the next few years Skyline Roofing developed its niche market producing, supplying and fitting roofing products throughout Launceston and Tasmania.
Skyline Roofing was one of the first companies in Tasmania to enter into these combined practices. From there, the workforce continued to grow with the company employing apprentices to develop a sustainable future.
Skyline Roofing currently operates from its premises at 99 – 103 Forster St, Invermay in Launceston, Tasmania and employs approximately 20 staff in the various sections of the business. Skyline Roofing Pty. Ltd. is a multi-faceted business made up of four components; Commercial Roof Contracting, Sheds and Garages, Roofing Retail and Sheetmetal Manufacturing.
